Do you accept insurance?+
Yes. Adora Psychiatry is in-network with Aetna, Cigna, Carelon, Ascension, UnitedHealthcare (Optum), Oxford (Optum), and Oscar (Optum), with more insurances coming soon. Self-pay rates are $275 for the initial evaluation and $150 per follow-up visit. At your first visit I'll help you understand your specific coverage, copays, and out-of-pocket options.
Do you offer telehealth?+
Yes. All visits are conducted via secure, HIPAA-compliant video. Adora Psychiatry is currently accepting patients in Florida, with New Jersey and New York opening in the coming weeks.
What ages do you treat?+
Adora Psychiatry provides care for children, adolescents, and adults.
How long are appointments?+
Initial evaluations are approximately 60 minutes. Follow-up visits are typically 20–35 minutes.
Do you prescribe medications?+
Yes. As a Board-Certified PMHNP, Tziporah evaluates, prescribes, and manages psychiatric medications. Prescribing decisions are always collaborative and evidence-based.
Can you treat ADHD?+
Yes. I provide comprehensive ADHD evaluations and treatment for adults. State-specific regulations may apply to controlled medications.
What should I expect during my first appointment?+
Your first visit is a 60-minute evaluation focused on your history, symptoms, life context, and goals. You'll leave with a clear sense of next steps.
How do prescription refills work?+
Refills are typically managed during scheduled follow-up visits. For urgent refill needs, contact me and I'll respond within 24–48 business hours.
What is your cancellation policy?+
I ask for at least 24 hours' notice before your appointment to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed appointments, are subject to a $150 cancellation fee.
What if I'm having a psychiatric emergency?+
If you are in crisis or experiencing a psychiatric emergency, call 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or 911, or go to your nearest emergency room. Adora Psychiatry does not provide emergency or crisis services.
